- What is Axon 1Pro SEMS?
- Axon 1Pro Smart Estate Management System v2.0 (SEMS) is an open smart estate operations, automation and accountability platform for condominiums and MCSTs. It covers resident issue reporting, work orders, vendor attendance, notices and communications, patrol, SLA tracking and council reporting, with a resident PWA.
- Who is SEMS for?
- SEMS is for Singapore condominiums, MCSTs and council members, Managing Agents and property-management teams, plus their security teams, vendors and residents. It can also be deployed for estates elsewhere in Southeast Asia.
- Does SEMS replace Homeplus, iCondo or existing gate systems?
- No. SEMS is an add-on layer. Existing booking, gate/LPR, access control, CCTV and payment systems stay in place and connect through API, import or connector where access is available. Integrate first. Replace only if there is a business reason.
- Can residents report issues and upload photos?
- Yes. Residents choose a category and location, take or upload a photo, submit to the Managing Agent and track the ticket through Reported, Assigned, In Progress and Resolved, with follow-up comments, extra photos and reopen.
- Does SEMS support notices, circulars, email, SMS and WhatsApp?
- Yes. SEMS includes notices, circulars, announcements and campaigns across email, SMS, WhatsApp and voice. Email is live in the current demo; SMS, WhatsApp and voice require a client-configured provider and are simulated in the demo.
- Does SEMS support PWA/mobile use?
- Yes. The resident portal is a Progressive Web App that can be added to a phone home screen and uses the phone camera for issue photos. Native app-store packaging is quoted separately.
- What AI does SEMS use?
- The current proof of concept uses SEA-LION, a regional language model from AI Singapore, server-side for ticket classification, summaries and draft replies. Human approval stays mandatory for sensitive actions.
- Can SEMS integrate with OpenAI, Claude, Kimi or other AI providers?
- Yes, they are connectable. SEMS can work with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Azure OpenAI, Kimi and other OpenAI-compatible APIs. Only SEA-LION is live in the current demo; others need client keys and testing.
- Can SEMS integrate with CCTV and access-control providers?
- SEMS can connect to CCTV/VMS and access/LPR systems such as Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Milestone, Genetec, Suprema, ZKTeco and HID where the vendor provides API access. Each is subject to an integration assessment.
- Is SEMS an open platform?
- Yes. SEMS is not a closed ecosystem. It supports REST APIs, OpenAI-compatible APIs, OAuth/OIDC, SMTP, webhooks, SFTP, CSV/Excel and custom connectors. If a provider is not listed, Axon can assess and build a connector.
- Is SEMS hosted separately for each condo?
- The recommended production model is a dedicated environment per MCST — your own secure VPS with its own app, database and storage, for example at SEMS.yourdomainname.com — rather than a shared tenancy.
- Is a dedicated VPS automatically PDPA compliant?
- No. A dedicated VPS supports data isolation, but PDPA compliance also depends on policies, consent, access controls, retention and operational practices agreed with the MCST. Biometric features need separate PDPA review.
- Why does Axon recommend subscription rather than one-off development?
- APIs, AI providers, browsers, messaging providers and security libraries keep changing. A subscription covers ongoing maintenance, security updates, integration updates, monitoring and backups so the platform stays current, supported and maintainable.
- Can Axon provide a one-off customized build?
- Yes, by quotation. Scope, price and any source-code handover are agreed contractually. Future updates, API changes and security patches then become the client's responsibility unless Axon is retained separately.
- What does SEMS cost?
- Indicative pricing: SGD 4,000 one-time setup, a monthly subscription from SGD 200 to SGD 400 depending on resident records, custom pricing above 3,000 residents, and SGD 2,000/year maintenance. All prices are subject to formal quotation.
- How do I request a custom provider integration?
- Email support@axon.com.sg with the provider name, what you want to connect and any API documentation. Axon will assess feasibility; custom connectors may be quoted separately.
